FOR ONE CONTAINER
Effective 1/20/16

Rating Shipments Requiring Multiple Bill of Ladings:

Except as otherwise provided, a shipment moving from one Shipper at one point of origin at one time
for delivery to one Consignee at one point of destination at one time loaded in a single trailer, but
moving on two or more Bills of Lading, will be rated, for the purpose of applying charges, on the
same basis as if it were moving under a single Bill of Lading and the charges prorated to the
individual Bills of Lading based on weight or measure contained on each Bill of Lading, subject to

charges will be distributed over the multiple Bills of Lading.

contents of a single container, such Bills of Lading shall be numbered in sequence as one of the
total number of Bills of Lading which together shall cover the total contents of said container and
each Bill of Lading shall apply the following statement: "This instrument is one of a series
of...each covering a part of the cost of the above identified container; all...instruments to be
surrendered in order to obtain delivery of said container; container for all purposes constituting on
package; limitation of Carrier's liability as provided on reverse hereof and agreed to by Shipper
